As a Christian of strong faith I respect the fact that we all have different political and religious views. I believe that if we call ourselves Christian and believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins than God is our Leader. God is the one we should follow in ALL things.
We all have extremely far left and far right friends and family that we love regardless of their personal political views. Yes, I am a God fearing woman and the Bible is my guide in life and in all things. Put that where you may in the political or outside world, all that matters to me is how I serve the Lord our God.
1Peter 4:11 paraphrased, states to truly serve God is to serve with the strength God supplies in order that everything may glorify God through Christ Jesus. When we have faith and trust that God will supply ALL of our needs every second then we will serve happily and not be anxious and He will supply our every need.
Psalms 100:2 states "serve the Lord with gladness" Through him supplying our needs it glorifies him. God is not a God of lack, he will provide what we need when we need it and in his time only. It is not for us to understand but for us to have faith and in serving we exemplify that faith allowing God to then serve us.
Through his serving us we glorify him. Think of it this way, is it more fun to give or receive? Seriously now, it is always more fun to give than to receive. So when we trust in God and serve others for Him, than He serves us and gets the Glory. Why do I say He gets the glory? God gets the glory because He is the giver, the giver gets the glory.
The Leader I choose to serve is:
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Do we really think that we have to voice our opinion on every little thing that offends us or we feel is an injustice around us. Yes we do because that is human nature, hence this very writing. People spend a great deal of time trying to stand for a cause and raise a lot of commotion to get their opinions known in the world around them.
If we would all focus that same energy into more productive tasks such as, writing an encouraging note to someone we know hurting, being kind, loving others, lending a helping hand to our fellow man, just to name a few then there would be no reason for animosity in this great country God has given us.
Satan has made it so easy for us to focus on the NEGATIVE in the world around us. WHY? He does this so you will expend your time and energy focusing on what serves him.
I beseech all of those that read this to ask yourselves this What would Jesus do?
Are you making a difference in the lives of others when all you spread is animosity for your fellow man? Are you changing your world, when you are dwelling on all the negative Satan has put into our environment?
Can you change your world when you spend more time focused on your Children, your spouse, your loved ones and the occasional stranger you spend a few extra minutes talking with? Absolutely you can.
If you are not happy with the life you currently have today or the status of our government then start in your own environment and the world immediately in need in your community.
When we focus our eyes on true servitude we take our eyes off of our problems and we allow God to supply all of our needs, from breathing to live and even the need of our last breath.
